We boast a cafe and licensed bar. Come in and enjoy a selection of options with a nice cold beer or glass of wine.  The 'Waitiki Burger' is a must.

If you're in a hurry to move on to enjoy the wonders of the region you can take your meal with you.

Need some of those everyday items - we have a well stocked dairy and bags of ice available for your fishing or refreshment needs.

Sand Boarding

Sand Boards are available for those who are keen to try the thrills of sand boarding down the spectacular Te Paki Sand Dunes



Fishing

Spoilt for choices here - three Coasts to choose from!  Surfcasting or Rock fishing, Check with our friendly staff to give you some pointers on where the fish are biting.  Tide charts also available.



Hiking

We will give you the inside scoop on the best walking tracks in the area. From Te Werahi on the West Coast to Cape Reinga around to the East Coast as far as Spirits Bay. 

Tapotupotu Bay

This is one of New Zealands northern most beaches, located just 19kms North West of Waitiki. 

Starting at Tapotupotu Bay, this 5 km track climbs steeply for incredible views before descending into Sandy Bay and on to the Cape Reinga lighthouse.

Twilight - Te Werahi Loop

The round-trip walk is 16 km in length and takes between 4 hours 30 minutes to 5 hours to complete. The track crosses farmlands and dunes.
